All Things Tea

I have been spending a great deal of time working on my tea. It occurs to me that tea fits virtually every facet of daily life. The name of my business, Specialtea Teas came to me one night while I was sleeping. In recent days, I've spent time with the name and just what it means to me and my business. "Special Teas for Special Times" is what it means and says to me and what I want it to mean to my customers. As I'm learning more and more about tea, I'm also learning and able to do more and more blending to develop different tea blends. In these experimental blends I've come to focus on times of the day, events, life etc. Tea does our fancy aid,
Repress those vapours which the head invade
And keeps that palace of the soul serene.
~Edmund Waller, "Of Tea"

The above quote, reminds me of my sister-in-law, Marilla. She often speaks of vapours and having to take time or just go to bed. When I found this quote I was reminded of all the times that tea has been a part of some of my most wonderful times and some of my worst. I'm going to continue working at this but needed to share the progress. I'm not sure if any of this or all of it makes sense at all. All I can say is that I was compelled to write it and compelled to share it, so here it is. What does tea mean to you? When do you drink it and why?
